I've loved writing since I was a kid. Sing-songy little poems and long, rambling journal entries have long been a part of my life. During my college years, I mustered up the courage to submit some of my Christian song texts to musicians; I was thrilled when a few were recorded on albums or printed for choral collections. 

In the past, my work found its home on my Facebook page. I have decided to migrate to this blog space instead. So feel free to wander around and peruse my thoughts on life, love, creativity, and the Christian life. 

The title of my blog is taken from the song "Don't You Want to Thank Someone?" by Andrew Peterson on his "Light for the Lost Boy" album; click on the video to give it a listen. It's a long piece, but totally worth it.
